Time management and its impact on motivation, retention and conciliation | III Congress of Equality and HR

On October 23, 25 and 26 was held the III Congress on Equality and Human Resources in the Health Sector was held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on October 23, 25 and 26. was held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a meeting that brings together those responsible for personnel and equality policies in the public and private healthcare sector to discuss key issues such as the gender perspective, the emotional wellbeing of personnel and talent retention.

In our third consecutive year as sponsors of the Congress, we wanted to make a more integral contribution by energizing one of the program’s workshops. In this workshop we addressed the topic Time management and its impact on motivation, retention and work-life balance with Teno Osorio and Miguel Pineda from Global Planning Solutions.

With a full attendance of approximately 120 participants, planning and time management were discussed as key pillars for the motivation and loyalty of teams in healthcare organizations.

During the workshop, the importance of understanding the key employee motivators that contribute to retaining talent was highlighted. Some of those highlighted that concern BOLD are flextime solutions, as it has a direct impact on professionals by allowing them to better manage their workload and balance their personal and work life.

This need for work-life balance is totally linked to the demands of the new generations of professionals, for whom work-life balance has become an essential and determining element in their involvement with the organizations where they work.

Another point that we were able to share and discuss with the workshop attendees is summarized in “The first step to motivate is not to demotivate”, but what do we mean by this? As experts in planning and time management in the healthcare sector, we understand that it is essential to eliminate or minimize the factors that cause demotivation so that motivation initiatives can be effective and integrated into the organization’s overall talent retention strategy.

Once again this year, we closed the event with great satisfaction for the attendance and for the opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals who seek to improve the working lives of employees and organizations. We are delighted to have sponsored the event and hope that it will continue to be an important date in our annual agenda.
