Oviedo welcomes us to celebrate the 35th Conference of Nurse Managers with BOLD

For the third consecutive year we are sponsoring the 35th National Conference on Nurse Managers held on March 26, 27 and 28 at the Palacio de los Congresos in Oviedo.

The Asturian city welcomed more than 1,000 healthcare professionals for three days of meetings, learning and exchange of experiences. The program included the exchange of experiences focused on new trends in nursing management, innovation in care models and the current challenges of leadership in the healthcare environment.

Under the slogan Climbing the management ladder. The value of excellenceThe event focused on the importance of advancing in healthcare management, promoting excellence at every level of the organization to ensure quality and, above all, more humane care. The scientific program included key topics for the future of the healthcare system, from nurse management and new challenges in talent retention, digital transformation, sustainability and professional ethics. For us, it is an essential annual meeting point in which to take part in order to continue listening, learning and connecting with the real needs of the sector.

In this context, in addition to our commitment as sponsors for the third year in a row, we also promoted the BOLD workshop entitled INTELLIGENT PLANNING AS KEY TO COVERAGE MANAGEMENT. This type of participation, which is already common in our presence in these conferences, seeks to offer a dynamic space where to address in a practical way and with cases of real application the usual challenges in nursing management.

This year we counted with the participation of Albert Batlle, professional team manager of the Nursing Management of the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitgewho presented the deployment of the substitution management functionality in his center. This BOLD tool makes it possible to coordinate the coverage of staff absences, offering employees the possibility of choosing substitutions through the BOLD APP. This approach facilitates management, making it more flexible, agile and less invasive by using the same platforms that are used on a daily and work-related basis.

Miguel Ángel Molina, Director of Nursing at the Hospital Universitari Mútua Terrassa Hospital Universitari Mútua Terrassashared his experience on the integral development of the implementation of a planning tool in his center. This process ranged from the identification of the specific needs of the nursing block to the deployment and integration of the solution, including the implementation of key modules and the recent incorporation of time and attendance and time recording.

During the three days of the event, we maintained an active agenda that allowed us to hear first-hand the needs and demands of nursing professionals. This interaction reaffirms the importance of close collaboration between the Human Resources and Nursing departments to improve the sector and the well-being of professionals. Our commitment is to continue to be part of this dialogue, offering increasingly adapted solutions that meet the demands of the healthcare sector.

We would like to thank the National Association of Nursing Managers (ANDE) for having us for another year and we extend our appreciation to the speakers for sharing their experiences on nursing management. We are excited to continue participating in future editions, collaborating in initiatives that promote innovation and excellence in the healthcare field.
